The service

CalyxNames provides free name generators that run entirely in your browser. There is no account system, and the service is provided as-is, free of charge, supported by display advertising.

Using generated names

Names produced by these generators are created algorithmically from word lists and syllable patterns — CalyxNames claims no ownership over them, and you’re free to use any generated name for personal or commercial purposes without attribution.

That said, we can’t guarantee a generated name is unique, available as a username or domain, or free of an existing trademark or copyright held by someone else. Checking availability and doing your own trademark search is your responsibility, especially before using a name commercially.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated results will meet any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalyxNames and its operator aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or of any name it generates.
